“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should or need to do it alone”
I chose to work in the mental health and human services field for a variety of professional, but most importantly personal reasons that are near to my heart.
Life, so far, has taught me that human support and connection is beyond value, and when we connect with others we can do more than we ever thought we could.
I have a passion for supporting people through life’s various adjustments such as relationships, different kinds of grief, various kinds of trauma, choosing a career, school, and life paths, as well as other issues.
I see therapy as a dual relationship where we work together to identify what things are most important for you to work on.
Healing can be a messy, complicated, yet beautiful experience, and I believe you are here to teach me as well- and that is a belief I hold to be true in my work.
I obtained my undergrad in social work at Eastern Connecticut State University in 2015, and pursued my Masters of Social Work at University of Connecticut in 2016. Since then I have worked with young to older adults, children and families, and in a domestic violence safehouse for women and children.
When i’m not working, I enjoy cooking, listening to an extreme array of music on my Spotify account, eating various foods, gardening, binging Netflix, spending time with loved ones (including the animals in my life).
Insurances Accepted: Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, Medicaid, United HealthCare (Connecticare), Self-Pay.

“I hold both a licensure and advance certification in Alcohol and Drug Counseling with over 20 years of experience in the field of addiction and mental health disorders. My advance certification includes being proficient in co-occurring disorders.
The dynamics of addiction are complex and as such I have come to utilize different treatment therapy styles to assist Individuals in recovery with the overall goal of improving the odds of success in treatment by ending (or moderating) maladaptive behaviors (i.e., drug use, lowering the risk of relapse, coping with anxiety, etc.), allowing the person seeking recovery to rebuild or restart their lives.
Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, I relocated up north to Connecticut where I completed my post secondary and Master’s level education. I feel that this broad scope have been essential in providing me with a key combination of both ‘street’ and ‘book’ smarts when working in the field of co-occuring disorders and addictions”.
Types of Addiction treatment approaches include (but are not limited to) the following:
